I didn’t expect to see the title of the best show ever being taken from Alice Cooper so soon. But it happened on Wednesday in Vienna when the Stadthalle turned into a Funhouse. This was the best concert I’ve ever seen, no doubt about it.
Working for two teen magazines, Nina and I, 2/3 of Trio Adio headed up to Vienna to see the artist that we can surely call the founding mother of Dax Photo in it’s present form. Her concert in Schladming two years ago was the first event documented by the selfproclaimed Trio Adio (Nina Blaž, Barbi Gračner and Taxi Daxi :)) and P!nk is by far our most documented singer, Barbi Gračner even covered her CBS performance in New York.
The Vienna show on Wednesday was something to remember, although Trouble greeted us upon seeing the huge crowd standing between us and the entrance. (Nina had a press accreditation that shared the entrances with pink-crazy crowd :)) But my Bad Influence got her closer than she could imagine. P!nk got the party started by rising from the extended stage to a background of a circus of dancers, costumes and an amazing set, and gave Funhouse visitors two hours of an amazing show with professionally special-effects-ridden live video and Glitter in The Air. Her aerial acrobatics high above the stage were worthy of a real circus performer, and her friendly interraction with the crowd always brings her even closer to the people.
P!nki in da House!
When Trio Adio or Dax Photo (the same really, but Trio Adio is a pet name, hahaha) cover P!nk’s concerts we leave a mark. 🙂 Like giving P!nk a scarf she wore almost the entire I’m Not Dead Tour. This time we brought a rising star. We picked up a puppy on our way there, he said his wish was to perform with P!nk. A diehard fan wearing a pink hooded pijamas. So we took him along and tried to Sober him up, tell him it’s impossible, the least he could do is to land on the stage and be swept off by security. Wouldn’t listen. So What. Let him dream.
Well, long story short, the dog did it. Nina handed P!nki to P!nk during So What and after posing with her for a moment, he landed in her cleavege jumping around at the chorus. She then took him in her hand, went back to her band and dancers, and P!nki performed with Jason, her guitar player. His showbusines debut continued in the hands of dancers in underwear, who started playing with him on a bed, then one of the ladies decided to introduce him to another pair of boobs (the guy actually dived into two cleavages in two minutes!). While riding in the hands of one of the girls, he even participated in the infamous pillow fight, then disappeared right before the end of the song when P!nk slapped the guy on the bed.
So P!nki’s happy now. Found a new owner and I’m sure they’ll make a wonderful Family Portrait. Which is also the song performed right after, as if saying thank you to Nina, whose favorite song it is.
Thanks to someone who recorded the song on video, you can watch P!nki’s debut in Vienna:
See Nina handing him to P!nk. Now try to follow his path. She poses with him for a moment, puts him in her cleavage, sings a bit jumping around, then turns away, takes him out and carries him to Jason, where she sings with her hand (and P!nki) over his shoulder (you can see him in the right corner on the video screen).
Then she gives P!nki to her dancers who start playing with him.
The video turns onto the screen, and focus on the girl in the background who puts P!nki in her cleavage again.
After the cut, be careful not to miss the girl running from the right, with clearly seen big nose and eyes of P!nki between hear breasts. After that, he’s back in her arms participating in the pillow fight. 🙂
